Creating Safe Play Spaces for Bougainville’s Children
The Arawa Peace Park Playground Installation Project is a major initiative by Bougainville Sankamap Australia Association Inc to provide safe, inclusive, and engaging recreational spaces for children in Bougainville. By installing repurposed playground equipment and improving surrounding infrastructure, the project aims to support healthy childhood development and community wellbeing.
Many communities lack safe places for children to play. This project transforms underutilized areas into vibrant spaces where children can socialize, learn, and grow in a secure environment.
